Welcome            To the Family Partnership Campaign            for the City Lights Service Unit

Girl Scout Council of Greater Minneapolis Family Partnership Promise Club              Introducing an easy, economical new way to support girls!              Did you know...              * That you can join the Family Partnership Promise Club and donate to                           the Girl Scout Council on a budget plan of as little as $10 per month?              * That when you join you can receive a fun free gift for your family?*                           (See attached registration form for details)              * That the cost to bring Girl Scouting to just one girl is $350 per                           year?              * That none of the $10 registration fee that you pay for your daughter                           annually stays locally within our council, but rather is forwarded to                           our National organization, GSUSA, to provide insurance for her?              * That troop dues provide funds for Troop activities only?              Each Family Partnership contribution will be used to support the work                           that is done within our Council, such as:              * Providing programs and activities for our 19,500 girls              * The cost of recruiting, placing and training 8,200 volunteers              * Program support              * Camp maintenance at Camp Greenwood, Camp Elk River and Camp              Lockeslea              * Providing over $75,000 annually in financial assistance for girls              * Many other services available to adult and girl members              All Family Partnership money is used locally within our Council. What is the Challenge Grant?

The Challenge Grant is an anonymous donation that  will match any first time* contribution of 50$ or more with equal amount or any returning donation of a 50% increase also with equal amount.  That means your first time donation of 50$ becomes 100$ and if you give 10$ the first year and 15$ the next, that 15$ becomes 30$ donation.

How does my Employer match gifts?

You need to ask your employers' human resource personabout whether or not they match gifts.  We have a small list   available that is some what accurate ( ask Linda). Families should obtain appropriate paperwork from their Empoyer and fill out their portion and then place that in the family partnership participation envelope.
